Early in 2002, Brian Dinham decided to focus Bheula Framing on providing the Cowal area of Argyll with a Collect and Return service for artists, art groups, businesses and private customers.

The service was so well received that it soon spread into North Ayrshire and the Isle of Bute.

Artists using the service range from well-known professionals, painting for exhibitions and private commissions, to amateurs and enthusiasts painting and drawing purely for their own leisure and enjoyment.

Having now relocated to Kelso, what was a weekly service back in Cowal has become a three weekly service on Wednesdays because of the distance. I continue to provide my artist clients and private customers there with the service that they are used to and continue to hold "surgeries" at Tighnabruaich Gallery and Gallimaufry Gallery every third Wednesday by appointment. Also at Juno Gallery and Seagull Gallery when they need me. This enables the galleries to provide a framing service to their artists or to any of their customers who need a painting, print, photograph, tapestry, embroidery or object mounted and/or framed.

My Bheula Framing Collect & Return service aims to make it as easy as possible for artists to have their work mounted and framed at a reasonable cost, particularly for exhibitions. I work with each artist in their own studio, or in a gallery of their choice, or in their own workshop, so that the artist can take time to choose the right mounts and frames for their style of work and the medium that they work in.
